Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber fancies himself as an X Factor judge. Simon Cowell revealed that the Canadian star has been in touch about taking part in the US version of the talent show. Speaking to his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymore on Extra, Si said "He [Justin Bieber] put himself forward to judge some of the episodes." It doesn’t look like the Bieber will make it on to the judging panel though, because Simon also announced that a huge A-list star has also been in touch about working in the US X Factor, “We had a phone call from someone on the weekend, someone very well known who out of the blue wanted to be a judge on the show. Literally out of the blue, and it's one of the most famous singers in the world."

Ok, we’re now going to speculate like crazy about about who this famous singer might be...

We could totally see someone like Mariah Carey doing this, and she would be AMAZING. Whitney Houston might be a touch too crazy. Christina Aguilera might do it to keep her mind off her divorce. Maybe Justin Timberlake wants to put all his experience in the industry to good use. If it turned out to be Britney Spears our head might explode, that would be too good.
