"American Idol" has welcomed its new judges, but it's time for former "Idol" judge Simon Cowell to nail down the "X Factor" judges. And he tells "Extra" that he's already had some big names speak to him about it -- including Justin Bieber!

"He put himself forward to judge some of the episodes," says Cowell.

Cowell can't give too much away, but he says "The X Factor" has plans for a huge A-list star to joint he show. "We had a phone call from someone on the weekend, someone very well known who out of the blue wanted to be a judge on the show. Literally out of the blue, and it's one of the most famous singers in the world," he said.
