Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” may have it’s 7th straight week at #1 on the Hot 100, the woman who she beat out for the title is coming back – and back with a vengeance. Katy Perry, Billboard’s Top 10 Queen, blasts up the chart from #31 to #4 with “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F), and at this rate is almost certain to Top the chart next.
Meanwhile, laying easy at #2 is Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer – which also has a good chance of moving up to #1 next week given the live performances and the release of Pitbull’s album Planet Pit.
LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock falls in the same category as Pitbull, with live performances and the album Sorry For Party Rocking debuting next week on the Billboard 200.
Katy Perry’s second Top 5 record “E.T.” slips down to #5, and #6 is Lady Gaga’s “The Edge Of Glory”.
Jason Aldean and Ludacris’ single for the “Dirt Road Anthem” fires up 2 spot to #7, while Nicki Minaj’s successful single, “Super Bass”, continues to penetrate the Top 10 at #8. Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song” drops 4 spots to #9, and the double platinum “The Show Goes On” by Lupe Fiasco returns to the Top 10 at #10.
