(RTTNews) - Carrie Underwood is slated to appear on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother. In the show, which is scheduled to air in March, the country star will be playing the role of Tiffany, a pharmaceutical sales rep who falls for Josh Radnor's Ted.
This has been a busy week for Underwood, who was honored on Wednesday night with the People's Choice Award for favorite country artist. The singer beat out Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley for the award.
Underwood also got engaged to Ottawa hockey player over the holidays. The singer, 26, and Fisher, 29, began dating in October 2008. No wedding date has been announced at this time.
The singer is scheduled to hit the road for her 45-date Play On tour, which will run from March 11 in Reading, Pennsylvania, through May 30 in Spokane, Washington.
