Singer Ayumi Hamasaki has announced on her twitter that she is getting married to actor Manuel Schwarz. A lot of fans and followers had been speculating whether or not this was true. It started when Mannie (Manuel Schwarz) tweeted that, "Things are gonna change in 2011 I'm gonna have a beautiful wife " And then after that, Ayumi also tweeted something along the lines, "Happy New Year. Hubby, from this year, will be a real hubby."

Manuel Schwarz had appeared in 3 of Ayumi's music videos which included: Virgin Road, Love Songs and Last Angel. Avex has acknowledge her announcement and Ayumi herself stated that she will not be retiring.
